It is vital that when starting off in any new exercise, you look at it from a ‘functional’ point of view. If you can’t say how it can directly impact (improve) your movement in day to day life, then it’s probably not going to be affective. This is why, I emphasise taking training at the beginning from an endurance/ stability/ postural perspective.
